Select any of the built-in dimension standards, or create a custom standard. When a dimension tool is active, you can also set the default dimension standard from the Tool bar. When you add a new dimension, the dimension standard set in the document preferences is used by default (see Document Preferences: Dimensions Tab). There are also Tape Measure and Protractor tools to measure distances and angles, and a Center Mark tool to mark the center of circles, ovals, and rectangles. Dimensions can be created on a design layer, or in the annotation space of a sheet layer viewport (see Creating Annotations for Sheet Layer Viewports ).

On the SUBSCRIPTION page under the LICENSE tab in the top navigation in the portal, choose the license you want extend or reactivate, and you will be prompted to enter a new token.Use the various dimensioning tools to measure 2D and 3D objects, and to add dimensioning lines and measurements to the drawing. You can log in to the Customer Portal to extend an active license or reactivate an expired license at any time. How can I extend or reactivate my subscription in the future if I need to use Vectorworks again? Once you receive your token, you can redeem it by logging into the Customer Portal and going to the SUBSCRIPTION PLANS page. Your order will then be placed, and a token will be delivered to you via email, which may take up to one week. Once completed, please bring the order form to a retailer to make your purchase. Once connected, you will be able to continue using your software as usual. If you are not connected, you will receive a message asking you to connect to the internet to access your subscription software. Please note, your device needs to be connected to the internet while Vectorworks is running within three days of your renewal date for your renewal to work. Your subscription will automatically be renewed on your specified renewal date, unless canceled. Once you complete the purchase process, you will receive your installation information at checkout and via email. Please select a plan and you’ll be prompted to either sign in to your existing Vectorworks account or to create a new one. Your yearly subscription will automatically end after one year, however, you can easily extend it any time by adding an additional token. You will purchase a token once, and your yearly subscription will remain active for 12 months.

Yearly subscriptions are a cost-effective way to maintain a subscription for one full year. Your yearly subscription will automatically renew at the end of your one-year subscription term and you can cancel up to four days before your renewal date to avoid the charges on your next billing cycle.

And, with a yearly subscription, you’ll pay for 10 months and get two month’s cost free versus a monthly subscription. You will be billed once, and your yearly subscription will remain active for 12 months. Your monthly subscription will be automatically renewed each month, but you have the flexibility to cancel up to four days before your renewal date to avoid the charges for the next billing cycle. Monthly subscriptions are perfect for short-term needs, such as special projects or temporary staff. Monthly and annual subscriptions are both available, so you can subscribe for as long as you need.
